William R. Lizárraga, Esq.
A member of the New York State Bar, admitted to practice before the federal courts of the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York since 2008, and also admitted in the Northern District of New York. He earned a PhD in International and Comparative Law from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (2024), a Master in Tax Law from the University of Florida (2005) and a Master in International and Comparative Law from the University of Iowa (2004), both on merit scholarships.
He graduated first in his class, with honors, from the Universidad Nacional de San Agustín de Arequipa, Peru. Since 2005 he has worked with U.S. law firms in foreclosure defense, mortgage restructuring, bankruptcy, commercial transactions, personal injury, family and tax law, before founding Lizarraga Law Firm, PLLC. He is also a notary public and real estate agent, and the author of several books on law.
